Caiaffa - Primitivo Puglia
The Caiaffa winery is based around the town of Cerignola near Foggia. It is managed without any pesticides to create a natural, organic environment for the vines to grow. The grapes are then manually harvested and spontaneously skin-on fermented for 20 days before matured for an additional three months in oak barrels.
On the palate, black and red fruits. Creamy with a long finish. A deep, full-bodied red with balanced acidity. Fully biodynamic, organic and natural.
