FORADORI - MANZONI BIANCO
At the foothills of the Dolomites, in Fontanasanta, east of Trento, the organically grown vineyards produce grapes drawing from a rich calcareous clay soil.
This white wine is made with Manzoni grapes, a cross between Riesling and Pinot Blanc, harvested by hand, destemmed and macerated in cement for a few days and then aged in large Acacia barrels for a minimum of 8 months. It is bottled unfiltered.
The Fontanasanta Manzoni Bianco excites all the senses. To the eye, it presents a shimmering golden colour, while the bouquet is an elegant symphony of spices, yellow fruit, mountain flowers, cocoa seeds, light caramel and a distinctive mineral quality: a real olfactory experience. Elegant, dry and balanced on the palate, expect green apple freshness, savoury herbal tones, mineral notes, tannin and traces of the acacia barrels.
Excellent balance, ample structure, great flavours. Enjoy on is own or with meat dishes, spicy food, rich vegetarian dishes, baked pasta and mature cheese.
